I put together our website - I can tell you what all that means. The turbo kits are bolt-on, meaning no special tools or additional parts are required to install them. It is stated in there that some minor fabrication is required, but that is because some of the cylinder block has to be ground down in order for the turbos to actually fit. That is simply an issue due to the larger turbine housing, and anyone installing an .86 A/R 5-bolt turbine housing onto a Z, regardless of turbocharger, is going to have to do this. Its only a small amount to grind off, probably about 2-3mm or so.. They used to require some massaging of the oil return lines, but that was the only 'fabrication' that had to be done. We now supply them with oil return lines that fit, but there is still some grinding required - same going for the JWT Sport700's (since they are actually the same exact turbo). I dont know if grinding constitutes fabrication since fabrication is synonomous to building, but I wanted to try and overstate what to expect. That section was given a lot of thought between three people and is very carefully worded so as not to misguide people. It is unfortunate that Rich hadn't installed JWT Sport700 turbos before ours - I'm under the impression that there is more work required to install them (oil return lines aren't provided with their kits, nor are oil feed lines, or gaskets - our kits come with all of that)..
